The cow herd consists of approximately 60 registered Herefords, both polled and horned genetics represented, as well as the Maine-X heifers from the boys' junior show days, and the 2002 purchase of a small herd of purebred Angus cows to produce club calves as well as highly sought after F1 baldies.  Artificial insemination and embryo transfer are used extensively to achieve and maintain quality.
